Lesson Procedure:
Begin with a warm-up activity to prepare students for movement.
Introduce the task: each student or pair will create their own unique balance pose using ideas from the Balance It cards or their own inspiration.
Students practice and refine their balances individually or in pairs.
Encourage creative expression, variation, and use of different body levels/shapes.
Optional: Play background music to foster a fun, creative atmosphere.
Each student or pair presents their created balance poses to the class.
Encourage peer feedback and discussion on pose complexity, technique, and creativity.
Lead a cool-down session (5 minutes) with basic stretches targeting key muscle groups.
